I was born in a small town in Maharashtra, India. However, I have spent most of my school life in a nearby big city called Nagpur, after living in the easternmost state of India for about 3 years. I then moved to Ranchi, the city of water falls, where I completed my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. I also spent some time in Bangalore at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) before joining my master’s course in Pisa.
About me
Why Surgical robotics?
In life, we've all encountered those moments of profound vulnerability and desperation, standing by a loved one's bed in a hospital, willing to sacrifice everything just to alleviate their pain. It's in these moments of helplessness that the significance of innovation truly hits home. A small group of dedicated individuals, are tirelessly working in the realm of surgical robotics in a hope of easing the experience.
How you ask, well the mission is clear: empower surgeons with advanced technologies, making interventions more reliable, safer, and minimally invasive. I envision a world where medical procedures are radiation-free, targeted, robust and consistently successful.
I wake up every morning driven by the hope of gaining skills, knowledge and experience that can one day help design and develop devices that will improve the quality of life of a fellow human being. Together, let’s strive to eradicate the phrase 'I wish we could have done more' from the vocabulary of healthcare. It's not just a goal; it's a promise we owe to the coming generations.
